Keith ‘WildChild’ Middleton – Transitions (Album)

A mainstay of the NY underground Hip Hop scene, rapping and producing for his group HYDRA and his crew The Plague, Keith “WildChild” Middleton is also a lead performer in the cast of Stomp. Keith has traveled the globe, has been featured in commercials for McDonalds, Volkswagon, Toyota, and Honda, has starred in the hit iMAX movie “Pulse: a Stomp Odyssey” and various films and television shows from Sesame Street (with Elmo) to Third Watch (alongside DMX) to The Oscars (twice!). To say he is a versatile performer is an understatement. A true renaissance man, WildChild also teaches body percussion globally and was a comedic choreography consultant for the animated movie “Robots.”

Having been a team player for years, in Stomp, HYDRA and The Plague, Keith is now branching out on his own, releasing his debut album “Transitions” on MCMI Records. An absolute labor of love, that came about after a near fatal car wreck made him realize that “Carpe Diem” would be his mantra, the spoken word/fusion album includes soul, funk, jazz, afro-beat, dance and Hip Hop, all music and tracks composed and produced by Keith himself, with guest appearances by HYDRA and a vast array of accomplished vocalists and musicians.

The title “Transitions” is self-explanatory, as Keith chronicles his transition to manhood, independence and self-fulfillment, including everything from relationships, to addiction, to honor, to the birth of his children. But its not all deep and serious, Keith has something for the playful, the dance crew, the MC, the poet, the lover and the fighter. Release of the physicals will be announced along with the Album Release Party, in the upcoming weeks. Tony Moreaux – TATO (Single)

Hailing from the small city of Lynn, Massachusetts, on the outskirts of Boston, Tony Moreaux returns with his latest single. Tony Moreaux for those unfamiliar, is a diverse artist that has the ability to craft a gritty boom bap track one day, and switch flows to an ignorant trap record the next, as well as always holding his own on any featured slot that is thrown his way. As an artist, Tony is giving you his take on life from the “regular guy” perspective without being “regular” or typical. Just like anyone else, the man has a story and he gives you just that without any fabrication.

This self produced single entitled “Tato,” is a fun, braggadocios, bass heavy joint where he speaks on the ups and downs of events occurring in the past year for him. From the accomplishments to the conflicts. A very simple, catchy joint that just about anyone can nod their head to and at some points, relate to. Stay tuned for the visuals sometime in November.

Black Dynamite (C. Keys & Centric) – McFilthy (Video)

Centric has garnered the attention of a plethora of international DJs, blogs and the like with the success of several singles he produced for other members of his Free At Last Music family as well as two highly rated singles from the emcee/producer duo Grand Opus he crafted with fellow Cali native emcee Joc Scholar with singles “Forever” and “The Key.”

Music fans familiar with producer Oh No will recall “Skits and Pieces,” a classic underground album that showcased the lyrical onslaught of a then relatively unknown emcee, known as Infamous MC (aka C.Keys). Keys has appeared on the ‘Wake Up Show’ with Sway & Tech on several occasions and is known as the first artist to freestyle answers to Sway and Tech’s questions live on air. Together Centric and C.Keys have formed a dynamic hip-hop duo called Black Dynamite and “McFilthy” is their debut video/single release.

Centri – Headless Nobody (Album)

NYC-based Hip-Hop artist Centri is an anomaly and in many ways could be considered a model for the modern day renaissance rapper. After a career in the United States military, Centri returned home (Central Islip, Long Island) to an unfamiliar world, with a new mission: to create a career based around his true passion, music.

Centri’s newest work ‘Headless Nobody’ is his most ambitious, hunger-filled album to date, it captures the angst of today’s artists at a vital point where cultivated talent finally meets deserved recognition. It spoils the listener by orchestrating a sound that true hip hop connoisseurs has been waiting to hear but couldn’t put their finger on what it was suppose to sound like. His style is grimacing, honest and laced with a sound reminiscent of the golden era of Hip-Hop.

Packed with resolute, innovative lyrics and gut wrenching beats, the album features appearances by underground NYC hip-hop artists Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Akir, Blaq Poet, Awkword, HipHop_Mike, and his group The Lenzmen, paired with production from Akir, Willie Green, Dynamics Plus, Dig Dug, Nickle Plated, P.R.O., and others.

Grand Opus (Centric & Joc Scholar) – The Key (Single)

On the heels of the release of their highly rated debut single ‘Forever’ which dropped earlier this year, Hip-Hop duo Grand Opus drops their second track entitled ‘The Key.’ Grand Opus consists of Joc Scholar, Fresno based MC and Bay-Area producer Centric. Using the textbook Hip-Hop formula of one producer, one emcee, Grand Opus is raising the bar when it comes to beats and lyricism, redefining what you think of West Coast Hip-Hop.

Centri – A&R (Produced by NEOREV) (Single)

How many times have you heard “I can get you a deal” from a so-called A&R? Playing the role of a label rep, Centri critiques and dismantles a struggle rapper, like he’s hired to weed out the game of illegitimate posers. This single is assisted by some cutting edge NEOREV production, where a haunting chant of “Anarchist and Revolutionaries” paints the backdrop. ‘A&R’ is follow up to the recently released ‘Boric Acid,’ from his forthcoming album ‘Headless Nobody.’ [July 30th]
