D’Angelo Working On New J Records Debut Album For 2009
D’Angelo is currently in the studio working on his first album for J Records. According to reports, the album will likely be released early 2009. The album is expected to feature guest appearances by John Mayer and Raphael Saadiq.
A single should be released sometime this year. J Records purchased D’Angelo’s contract from Virgin in 2005. Virgin will release a D’Angelo CD/DVD greatest hits package called “The Best So Far…” June 24. |
